  I have a dog that I adore, she's not a pedigree, but a sweet little indeterminate terrier that I rehomed as a "fallen angel" from Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, a charity I support through Give as You Earn. Many Hearing Dogs are from rescue centres and are mixed breeds. My little love didn't quite make the grade as a Hearing Dog (though I'm told she passed her assessment) and now completes her desire to "help" by being a temperament tested and health checked "Pets as Therapy" dog, welcomed in hospitals, care homes, hospices and other places to bring cheer and comfort to those who are ill, disabled or vulnerable in some way. We are involved with visiting and fundraising for this wonderful charity.
