I was a bit surprised by the time it took to pay off. I hope I'm not offending against ZOPA etiquette by mentioning that you were making extra payments in most months. I honestly thought you would have it all paid off months ago. I suppose that's the way the system works, extra payments just go to reduce the regular monthly instalments. Presumably you thought it was worth the effort though?

For a while I tried to guess how large the next extra payment would be, but I never managed to work out the pattern.
